The Crystal Springs Alpaca adventure began in the fall of 2004 when Ken & Pat Finke purchased 3 female alpacas. Today, the new owners care for over 20 suris on the farm. It's hard to remember life before alpacas.
We fell in love with these graceful, gentle creatures the first time we experienced them. You will too! We couldn't find a downside to investing in them and thus began our life's journey into the wonderful world of alpacas.
We chose to focus on suri alpacas because their fiber is known to have more luster than huacaya and because alpaca farming in the future will be all about producing their most incredible fleece for the textile industry. Our suris come from some of the best bloodlines in America... including well-known names like Bruxo, Torbio, Uribe/Durazno, Cantano, Mahogany Prince, among others.
